The ToMo project aims to raise awareness about design principle that can create a seamless mobility solution for everyone. We aim is to provide a single solution for individuals who may hesitate to travel due to physical disabilities, age-related limitations, or other challenges, enabling them to move comfortably and without stress.

Key goals include:

  • Reducing travel barriers

  • Create new economic opportunities

  • Improve operational efficiencies for existing service providers

Why Mobility Support is Needed Now

  • Growing Low-Mobility Population
Approximately 15% of the global population has disabilities, and the number of people 60 or older is expected to triple by 2050. Many of these individuals experience hesitations about mobility, such as concerns about accessibility and convenience.

  • Difficulty Accessing Information
People often struggle to find critical accessibility information, such as wheelchair-friendly bathrooms, elevators, and transportation details, or accommodations suited to their needs.

  • Saturation
Existing solutions are overwhelmed with demand yet are the lowest priority for compliance by the private sector.

We want ToMo to be a part of the Mobility As A Service (MaaS) ecosystem.

Today, travelers must contact and confirm information individually with each service.

Our goal is to integrate different types of transportation services into one mobility service that can be used on demand.

The image is a flowchart illustrating levels of integration in transportation services, ascending from bottom to top. Starting at the bottom, Level 0 signifies "No Integration" with separate services and includes logos of Uber and American Airlines. Level 1 describes "Information Integration" with multimodal travel planning and price information, featuring a Google Maps icon. Level 2 refers to "Booking & Payment Integration" for single trip services and displays the Moovel logo. Level 3 highlights "Service Delivery Integration" with bundling and contracts but does not show any logos. Level 4, at the top, indicates "No Integration" with policies and incentives, and also does not feature any logos. On the left, there’s a vertical arrow labeled "ToMo" indicating upward progression through the integration levels.
